The Daily Haiga

If you're a fan of Daily Haiga you might have recently seen the first of three of my haiga they plan to publish! I was so excited to hear that my original haiku and images were going to be used that I couldn't help but check the website almost every day until I saw mine (above).

Thanks to Lucy for including me on a long list of contributors to the platform that I admire.

Check out my Daily Haiga profile here! And don't forget to check back to see more of my haiga in the future.

About the haiku and photograph:
The picture of the maple leaf was taken in Quebec, Canada when I lived there a few years ago. Quebec is full of maple trees and is known for its beautiful fall colors. I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area around the Autumn time. The haiku captures the still moments of each rose gold leaf spiraling down slowly under the Autumn sun, ready to crunch beautifully underfoot. Moments like those can inspire so much!
