Kokako Publication
Today Kokako, one of New Zealand's leading haiku journals, released its latest issue (#41). Below is my included haiku, written during a rare visit to my Omi (German for 'Grandmother') this Spring. Revisiting my childhood in her house's many rooms and corners always leaves me a little sad about what has passed, but I am still very grateful for what I got to experience there!

Thanks to the Kokako team for including my work in their publication. I have always dreamed of visiting New Zealand but it looks like my poetry beat me there!
